Disclaimer:

Please note that this book was originally published in 2004 and this version was last updated in 2007. Consequently, most of the content is now out of date as Apple's submission process is now available online via Apple's web site.

Bands and smaller labels may find it easier to distribute their music through one of the many aggregators that have sprung up since this book was published.

It is highly unlikely that this book will be further updated and it is no longer available in hard copy.

C|Net Reviews For any band, the road to iTunes is a rocky one without some level of assistance. If you're a low-budget, local band, I'd recommend that you or your label buy Higgs's guide and submit songs on your own since wending your way through Apple's requisite maze of forms without some form of guidance would be tough.
